The Feeling Better Than Everfine Festival was created by Everfine Records and O.A.R. to provide an opportunity for up-and-coming artists to showcase their music. The inaugural event took place during the summer of 2002 at Cleveland's Tower City Amphitheatre. With the true music fan in mind, the festival was set up so that no two sets overlapped. In addition, each year, concert-goers had the opportunity to interact with their favorite performers at a signing booth located in the artist village. Over the years the festival built a reputation for introducing festival-goers to artists on the rise. Among the future stars that performed at FBTE before they conquered the mainstream are Maroon 5, Howie Day, Marc Broussard, Citizen Cope, and Michael Tolcher. While the size and location of the all day music event changed from year to year, the vision for the festival always remained the same.
